Your mission

As Junior Category Manager Cycling, you support the Category Manager in daily operations. Your focus lies on research, project coordination and the independent execution of clearly defined brand activations in our target markets. You operate within defined frameworks – with the goal of gradually taking on more project ownership and responsibility.

Your responsibilities
Research & Analysis
  • Conduct market, competitor and trend analyses within the cycling space
  • Identify relevant events, communities, ambassadors and activation opportunities in key markets
  • Prepare presentations, decision-making materials and briefings
  • Maintain event, partner and athlete overviews
  • Support reporting and KPI evaluations

Operational Execution of Brand Activations
  • Independently execute clearly defined community and event activations in target markets
  • Coordinate external service providers and local contacts
  • Organize branding materials, samples and event assets
  • Create timelines and operational plans
  • Conduct post-event recaps and KPI documentation
  • Track budgets for individual activations

Event, Community & Ambassador Support
  • Support planning and execution of national and international events
  • Assist in managing community formats (e.g., ride-outs) and ambassadors
  • Provide operational support for athlete and partner activations
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders (Brand, Social, Media, Sales)

Partnership & Project Support
  • Monitor deliverables within existing partnerships
  • Track athlete performance and reporting metrics
  • Manage inbound cycling-related sponsorship and partnership inquiries
  • Prepare briefings and coordination documents
  • Document ongoing activations
  • Support POS activations where required

Your profile

  • First experience in marketing, sports marketing, events or project coordination – ideally within cycling
  • Strong affinity for professional and/or amateur cycling
  • Structured and reliable working style with strong operational focus
  • Organizational talent with hands-on mentality
  • Confident in preparing presentations and basic KPI analyses
  • Fluent in German and English
