If you apply to us electronically, i.e., via email or our web form, we collect and process your personal data for the purpose of handling the application process and carrying out pre-contractual measures.
By submitting an application via our recruiting page, you express your interest in joining our company. In this context, you provide us with personal data that we use and store exclusively for the purpose of processing your job application.

You also have the option to upload relevant documents such as a cover letter, CV, and certificates. These may contain additional personal data, such as your date of birth, address, etc.

Access to your data is restricted to authorized employees in the HR department or employees involved in the recruitment process.
The storage of your personal data is generally carried out solely for the purpose of filling the specific position for which you have applied.
Your data will be stored for a maximum of 180 days after the completion of the application process. This is usually done to fulfill legal obligations or to defend against possible claims based on legal requirements. After this period, we are obliged to delete or anonymize your data. In this case, the data will only be available as so-called metadata without direct personal reference for statistical evaluations (for example, the ratio of male to female applicants, number of applications per period, etc.).

Furthermore, we reserve the right to store your data in our “Talent Pool” for up to 90 days after the end of the application process in order to identify other suitable job opportunities for you. This also applies, for example, to applications for training or internship positions. By accepting this privacy policy, you consent to the extended storage of your data and its inclusion in our Talent Pool.

If, during the application process, you receive and accept a job offer, we will retain the personal data collected during the application process for at least the duration of your employment.

Disclosure of Data to Third Parties
The data you transmit as part of your application is transferred using TLS encryption and stored in a database. This database is operated by Personio GmbH, which provides HR management and applicant tracking software (https://www.personio.de/impressum/
).
In this context, Personio acts as our processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The basis for processing is a data processing agreement between us, as the controller, and Personio.

Data Subject Rights
If we, as the controller, process your personal data, you have certain rights as a data subject depending on the legal basis and purpose of processing, in accordance with Chapter III of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These include, in particular: Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR); Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR); Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR); Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR); Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR); Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR).

Processing of (personal) data by the operator of the recruitment website

Access logs (“server logs”)
